At risk today, around the world, are democratic societies once formed as a result of invaluable and painstaking collective energy applied to the shared purpose of ensuring precious freedoms. Societies that have thrived due to the incalculable efforts, contributions, and sacrifices of so many to secure equality and the rights of the people to have a say in their own destinies are now in peril. Only a like expenditure of energy can stop this looming existential threat. We The People is a tribute to those in all democratic societies around the world who are taking action to defeat this threat.
