Material Stratification is inspired by the natural and human history of Kensington and Port Richmond neighborhoods surrounding the gallery, made from soil, lake, and waste stream pigments foraged from the area.

We Are All Compost is open through April 19th; gallery hours are 2-4pm on Saturdays.

Art in the Wild

April 6, 2025 – September 2025
Rebecca’s installation Traversal(s) is part of Art in the Wild, an annual outdoor sculpture exhibition at

Wildwood Park
100 Wildwood Way, Harrisburg, PA 17110

This year’s theme is Pathways. Rebecca’s sculpture, made from foraged tree trunks, layers documentation of her travels in the Park to gather soil, rocks, plants, and wood; these marks are layered with visual patterns of living beings that forge their own pathways through the park via skin, wings, seeds, and scales. She used egg tempera paint made with pigments she crafted from plants and soil.

Art in the Wild opens on Sunday, April 6th and runs through September 2025.

Finally, Rebecca will return to High School Park later this spring to create an installation made with foraged clay in conjunction with a new pollinator garden sponsored by the Endangered Species Coalition. This project will also feature a workshop with botanical artist Diane Ehrich.
