Megan Grugan

Meg uniquely explores her world, figures, and landscape through painting.

“I have always seen the world in vibrant colors. Putting color next to color to create shapes and light is what really drives my work. The texture of the surface combined with the fluidity of the medium helps guide and define my images. To me, the negative space around an object is just as important as the object…it is the moment that matters most to me.” -Meg

Meg graduated from Moore College of Art and Design with a BFA in painting. She continues to study drawing and painting at Moore and at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art.

Meg is a member of International Encaustic Artists and Artessa Alliance. Her work is held in private collections in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

Meg lives in Bala Cynwyd with her husband and 4 children.
